## As part of this section we will create an event based audience of customers who:

- Visited the SecurFinancial Site and review Life Insurance and did not finish the application

1. Click on **Audiences** in the left navigation panel.
2. In the top right corner of the screen, click **Create Audience**.

  3\. Select **Build Rule**.

  4\. Click **Create.**

5\. Explore the segmentation canvas. This canvas allows marketers to build audiences from ALL existing attributes and events available on the real-time customer profile.

6\. Name your segment - ***`Life Insurace Abandoners - (your initials)`***

7\. Since this is an Event-based audience, click on **Events** in the left tab on the canvas. This selection will expose all event based data points that have been onboarded.

8\. Search for the term **"Web" **to locate the Page Views event.

9\. Drag the **Page Views** event type to the main canvas.

10\. Search for **Name** and add the **Web page details>Name** into the **Page Views**

11. Change to **contains** and add **insurance**

12\. Search for Application and drop **Application Open** to the right of Page views.

13\. Below event Rules change to **Exclude**.

14\. Set lookback window to **Last 24 hours**.

16. Set evaluation method to **Streaming.**

18\. Click **Publish**.
