## Data Ingestion Overview

A data architect, tasked with ingesting data is responsible for the below tasks.

1. Identify data sources and fields specific to the use case/s
2. Design the necessary schema/s
3. Create the necessary dataset/s
4. Ingest data

As part of this lab, we will follow Steve, our resident data architect as he builds the assets necessary to onboard some CRM data points for known customers into Adobe Real-Time CDP.
