This lab will walk through the steps to create an SMS Message in Adobe Journey Optimizer.

NOTE:  Some exercises may vary during the actual Hands on Lab versus what is listed in the Archbee Page, due to industry setup and / or Presenter preferences.

## Create a New Message

1. Within the Basic Journey, click on SMS action node 
2. Enter a Label and Description for the message.
3. Select **Marketing **for Category and **SMSMarketing **for SMS configuration.

4. Click on Edit Content

## Define the SMS Message

1. Set the SMS Message to "Have you thought about a cold one on your cruise?"

2. Let's try to improve our message using AI! Click on the Magic Wand next to the message

3. This opens a new window with Adobe's AI Content Accelerator. Try a prompt to see it's suggestions.

   Example prompt: "A fun message about having a drink on our cruise ship"

4. Pick the variant you like most and click "Select" in the top right corner
