Date ranges allow you to control the time period for your analysis and reporting. They are essential for understanding trends, comparing performance across periods, and focusing on data that’s relevant to your business questions.

Date ranges are configurable time periods that define which data is included in a panel, visualization, table, or segment. By setting specific date ranges, you can analyze data for a single day, multiple days, weeks, months, fiscal periods, or custom intervals.

**Examples: **

- Last 7 days
- This month
- Previous quarter
- Black Friday promotion period
- Custom: June 1 – June 15, 2025

Date ranges are available as drag-and-drop components in Analysis Workspace.

You can apply date ranges to:

- Panels (to constrain all data in the panel to that range)
- Visualizations/tables (e.g., break down data by specific weeks, months, or custom periods)
- Segments (to filter data by time as part of audience definition)
- Date ranges can be global (across a whole project/panel) or local (applied to an individual table or segment).
