In this lesson, you will evaluate how AI agents interpret <u>**your website content**</u> using the **AI Content Visibility Checker Chrome Extension**. This extension provides a quick preview of how well AI models can read and cite your website content — a glimpse into the insights available in **Adobe LLM Optimizer**.

While homepages are designed primarily for human visitors and often contain interactive elements, images, and marketing content, **AI systems typically rely more heavily on data-rich pages** when generating responses. Pages such as **product pages, articles, blogs, documentation, or FAQs** often contain the structured information and detailed context that AI agents use to generate recommendations and citations.

In this exercise, you will analyze **two content-rich pages from your website** to understand how visible your content is to AI systems.

# 1.1 Objectives

By the end of this exercise, you will:

- Use the **AI Content Visibility Checker Chrome Extension** to analyze website pages.
- View your **AI Content Visibility Score** and supporting signals.
- Evaluate how well AI agents can read and cite your content.
- Compare AI visibility across **two content-rich pages** on your website.
- Understand why structured, data-rich pages are more likely to appear in AI-generated answers.

# 1.2 Evaluate AI Visibility on Content Pages

Before exploring deeper insights in Adobe LLM Optimizer, you will first evaluate how AI systems interpret content on your website.

The **AI Content Visibility Checker** analyzes how easily AI agents can read and cite the content on a webpage. It evaluates the page’s HTML structure and signals that AI systems rely on when generating responses.

In this exercise, you will analyze **two content-rich pages** on your website.

These may include:

- Product pages
- Blog articles
- Knowledge base articles
- Documentation pages
- Resource or guide pages

These types of pages typically contain the **detailed information that AI models rely on when answering questions or recommending products.**

## Step 1: Navigate to a content-rich page on your website

::::WorkflowBlock
:::WorkflowBlockItem
Open **Google Chrome**.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Navigate to your company’s website.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
From the website, locate a **content-rich page**, such as:

- a **product page**
- a **blog post**
- a **resource article**
- a **documentation page**
:::
::::

Open that page in your browser.

## Step 2: Open the AI Content Visibility Checker

1. Click the **AI Content Visibility Checker extension icon** in the Chrome toolbar.
2. The extension will analyze the page.
3. After a few seconds, the **AI Content Visibility Score** will appear.

Example:

## Step 3: Click Detailed Analysis to view AI vs Human content

After reviewing the AI Content Visibility Score, you can explore a deeper analysis of the page.

1. In the extension panel, click **Detailed analysis**.
2. A new view will open that compares:

- **Agent View** – the content that AI agents can access directly from the page HTML
- **Human View** – the content that appears when the page is fully rendered in the browser

Example:

## Step 4: Repeat the analysis on your homepage

Now that you have analyzed a **content-rich page**, repeat the same process on your **homepage** to compare the results.

1. In your browser, navigate to your website’s **homepage**.

Example:

:::hint{type="info"}
This difference often occurs when content is loaded dynamically through **JavaScript**, interactive components, or client-side rendering.

AI agents frequently rely on the **raw HTML of a page**, so important content should ideally be accessible without requiring full page rendering.

Homepages are often designed primarily for **human visitors** and may contain large images, animations, or dynamically loaded components. Because of this, AI agents may not always see the same amount of content as they would on **data-rich pages such as product pages, articles, or documentation**.
:::

# 1.3 Checkpoint / Reflection

Before moving on, take a moment to review what you observed while analyzing your website pages.

**Checkpoint Questions**

1. What percentage of the page content could AI agents see on the **first page you analyzed**?
2. Did the **Agent View** and **Human View** contain the same information, or were there differences?
3. When you analyzed your **homepage**, did the AI Content Visibility Score change?

In many cases, **data-rich pages such as product pages, articles, or documentation contain clearer signals for AI models** than highly visual marketing pages.

Understanding how AI agents interpret your website content is the first step toward improving your brand’s visibility in generative search experiences.

Now that you understand how AI agents interpret your content, let’s see how your brand appears in AI-generated answers.
