# Pattern

The channel surface variable is composed of a static string and dynamic string that are combined to provide each lab attendee their own unique variable.  The dynamic string is the station number that the lab attendee is sitting at.

For instance:

**Static String**

`#popularOffersAndServices-creditCards-`

**Dynamic String**

`01` corresponding to station 01
