This lab will walk through the steps to create an SMS Message in Adobe Journey Optimizer.

NOTE:  Some exercises may vary during the actual Hands on Lab versus what is listed in the Archbee Page, due to industry setup and / or Presenter preferences.

## Create a New Message

1. Withinyour journey, click on SMS action node&#x20;
2. Enter a Label and Description for the message.
3. Select **SMSMarketing&#x20;**&#x66;or SMS Configuration
4. Click on Edit Content

## Define the SMS Message

1. Type your SMS message text. You can use this URL in the message body:

   It's a Big Deal. CitiSignal has the right fiber plan for you:  [https://dsslnk.io/fiber](https://dsslnk.io/fiber)

2. Exit the designer after composing the message.&#x20;
