### What this lab is about

This lab teaches **Document Authoring (DA)** for Edge Delivery Services — the **Adobe-hosted authoring experience** surfaced as `da.live`, with a browser-based UI for browsing, editing, previewing, and publishing content. DA is positioned as a **word-like authoring experience** with more structure and support than raw SharePoint/Google Docs, and less complexity than full AEM authoring.



## Learning Objectives

By the end of this lab, learners will be able to:

1. Explain what **Document Authoring (DA)** is and how it differs from SharePoint/Google Docs doc-based authoring.
2. Navigate the **DA UI** to find a site and document.
3. Edit page content in the **DA document editor**.
4. Use DA controls to **preview** authored content.
5. **Publish** content and validate the live result.
