## What is CX Coworker?

**CX Coworker** is an **agentic workflow platform** that helps users coordinate work and automate business processes through AI-assisted experiences.

Instead of manually navigating between multiple applications, users can describe what they want to accomplish in natural language. CX Coworker can then help identify the appropriate skill or agent, gather information, prepare a response or plan, and guide the user through the next steps.

As introduced above, **CX Coworker is Adobe’s conversational AI assistant for customer experience work**. It provides a single place to ask questions, uncover insights, and take action across Adobe applications and enterprise data.

For this lab, we will focus on how Coworker works with **Adobe Experience Manager**.

**Important:** CX Coworker helps coordinate work, but the user remains responsible for reviewing the results and approving any changes before they are applied or published.

## What are AEM Skills?

**AEM Skills in CX Coworker are specialized AI capabilities **designed to support specific content and experience management tasks in Adobe Experience Manager.

Depending on the environment and enabled skills, **AEM Skills can help users:**

- Find content and assets using natural-language prompts.
- Create optimized asset variations for different channels.
- Update pages and other content.
- Check content against brand and governance policies.
- Troubleshoot Cloud Manager development pipelines.
- Create or migrate experiences to Edge Delivery Services.

Each agent focuses on a particular type of work. This allows the user to describe a business goal while the appropriate agent or skill supports the required activity.

## How AEM Skills work in CX Coworker

The relationship between CX Coworker and AEM Skills can be summarized as follows:

| Layer | Responsibility |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **You** | Describe the goal, provide context, review the results, and approve changes. |
| **CX Coworker** | Interprets the request, coordinates the workflow, and connects the request to the appropriate skill or agent. |
| **AEM Skills** | Performs a specialized task, such as finding assets, optimizing an image, or checking content governance. |
| **AEM** | Stores, manages, reviews, and publishes the resulting content or assets. |

For example, you could ask:

`Find an approved Frescopa image for a web page about coffee and conversations.`

CX Coworker will use the AEM Asset discovery skill for this request , which searches the connected AEM content repository and returns relevant results.

You could then ask:

`Create a mobile-friendly variation of the selected image.`

This request may be handled by the **Content Optimization Skill**.
