## As part of this section we will create an event based audience of customers who:

- Visited the Luma Site and added some products to their cart but did not purchase



1. Click on **Audiences** in the left navigation panel.
2. In the top right corner of the screen, click **Create Audience**.

  3\. Select **Build Rule**.

  4\. Click **Create.**

5\. Explore the segmentation canvas. This canvas allows marketers to build audiences from ALL existing attributes and events available on the real-time customer profile.

6\. Name your segment - ***`Credit Card Abandoners Basic - (your initials)`***

7\. Since this is an Event-based audience, click on **Events** in the left tab on the canvas. This selection will expose all event based data points that have been onboarded.

8\. Search for the term "**Name" **to locate the page name for **Credit Card Application Started** event.

11\. Search for **"Name" **to locate the web page view event.

12\. Drag it to **the right of the existing event **on the canvas.

12\. Click on the Page View event box.

13\. Click on the Name and add equals "**Credit Card Application Submit"**

14\. Drag the **Name **data point to the **Add event field** box under Event Rules.

15\. Change the logical operator to **does not contain**.

16\. Set lookback window to **Last 24 hours**.

17. Set evaluation method to **streaming.**

18\. Review logic is as desired. We have created a condition which looks at customers who have added products to their cart and then have not hit the order confirmation page, thereby making them cart abandoners.

19\. Click **Publish**.
