2.2 Explore Your Brand’s AI Visibility
Step 1: Open Adobe LLM Optimizer
Simply navigate to https://play.llmo.now/ (this will open a new tab)
Step 2: Review brand visibility insights
Take a moment to explore the insights available on the Overview page.
LLM Optimizer analyzes AI responses to prompts and extracts signals that indicate how brands and websites appear within those responses. These insights provide a high-level view of how frequently your brand is mentioned or cited in AI-generated answers.
Navigate to the Brand Presence dashboard from the left nav as shown below:

Scroll down to the Data Insights section.

This section shows how your brand performs across different topics and prompts.
Each row represents a topic that AI systems may answer questions about.
As you review the dashboard, consider:
- How often your brand appears in AI-generated responses
- Whether other brands or websites appear alongside yours
- Which topics or prompts appear to surface your brand most frequently
These insights help identify areas where your brand is already visible and where opportunities may exist to increase visibility.
A brand mention means that an AI system referenced your brand when answering a prompt. A citation means the AI response actually referenced your website as a source.
In many cases, organizations discover that AI systems may mention their brand but cite other websites instead. organizations can enable CDN log forwarding, which allows Adobe LLM Optimizer to detect agentic traffic—interactions from AI systems accessing website content while generating responses.
Many teams find this particularly interesting because it helps reveal when and how AI systems interact with their website content.
Step 3: Consider the role of agentic traffic
You will notice a section related to Agentic Traffic on the left nav.
Agentic traffic refers to interactions from AI systems accessing website content while generating responses.
To unlock these insights, organizations typically configure CDN log forwarding, which allows LLM Optimizer to detect when AI agents retrieve content from their website.
Understanding these interactions can provide valuable insight into how AI systems access and interpret website content.
You can view the agentic traffic insights on the demo environment: https://play.llmo.now/org/demo-org/insights/agentic-traffic to understand what this view would look like once the CDN log forwarding is configured.

Step 4: Confirm the impact on real users
Your last step will be to visit the section related to referral traffic insights.. Navigate to Referral Traffic using the left nav.
Referral traffic is the name for real users landing on a page of your website by clicking on a citation link in the response generated by the AI system.By default, these insights will be provided from the AEM Operational Telemetry that collects privacy-first data from real user activity on websites delivered by AEM Cloud.
You can view the referral traffic insights on the demo environment: https://play.llmo.now/org/demo-org/insights/referral-traffic to understand what this view would look like once the CDN log forwarding is configured.

Additionally, organizations can configure LLM Optimizer to integrate with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics or Google Analytics 4. This will allow LLM Optimizer to retrieve user behavioral data to complete its insights.
On the demo environment, you can switch to the Business Impact tab to view what the results would look like when connected to Adobe Analytics.

The referral traffic data will help with ROI validation, discovery of blind spots in the prompting strategy, or potentially abnormal bounce rates on suboptimal landing pages.
2.3 Checkpoint / Reflection
Checkpoint Questions
- What is your brand’s AI Visibility Score?
- Does your brand have mentions but no citations?
- Are there topics where your brand has 0% visibility?
Reflection
- Which topics appear to surface your brand most often?
- Are there topics where competitors appear but your brand does not?
- What content improvements might increase your visibility for those topics?
Now that you’ve identified visibility gaps, let’s explore how to fix them.
