Ad-hoc Data Ingestion

You have been asked to load an ad-hoc file into the RTCDP for testing. In this exercise you will ingest a CRM file and will need to perform a simple concat transformation to join first and last name.

Navigate to Workflows then select Map CSV to XDM schema. Once selected click Launch.

Select New dataset and provide a unique name for the dataset name by calling it CRM + {Your Initials}. Then select CRM from the schema field and toggle on Enable partial ingestion. Click Next.

Now add in the CRM file and click Next.

Click on Add calculated field.

We are going to do a simple Concat where we add first and last name.

Click on Preview then click on Save.

Now we can map this calculated field to full name then click Finish.
