Bring your company knowledge
est completion: 10 min
In this exercise you'll load Admiral's Company Knowledge into Coworker. Without it, the AI has to guess what you mean. With it, the AI is grounded in how Admiral actually does business.
Objectives
By the end of this exercise you will be able to:
- Understand what Company Knowledge is and why it matters for AI agents.
- Recognise how definitions, retail signals, business rules, and KPIs shape how coworker interprets input.
Scenario
Admiral already knows what "early renewal" means and why it is important for both the business and the customer - it's defined in the Company Knowledge document. The problem is that this language only exists in the marketing team's head, not in the raw data you explored in the previous exercise.
Your task: give Coworker that same language, so that when you ask it to find "customers due for renewal" it doesn't have to guess - it applies Admiral's exact definition.
Constraints:
- The knowledge must faithfully reflect Admiral's business rules.
- It must be verifiable: before you trust it, check that Coworker has understood it correctly.
Review Admiral's Company Knowledge
Before Coworker can help Admiral run an early renewal campaign, it needs to understand Admiral's language, rules, and priorities. Think of Company Knowledge as the operating manual you hand to a new team member on their first day - it tells the Coworker what terms mean, what signals to watch for, what to never do, and what success looks like.
The Admiral team have provided you with a Company Knowledge document that includes four key sections:
Section | What It Tells the AI |
|---|---|
Definitions and Glossary | What Admiral's terms mean - "tax refund window," "high disposable intent" and so on. |
Signals & Time Windows | Behavioural patterns like early renewal, with Admiral's specific thresholds. |
Business Rules | Guardrails the AI respects automatically - like never pushing discounts to multi covers |
KPIs | What Admiral is optimising for: revenue per customer, offer engagement rate, unsubscribe rate. |
Download and review the file provided:
You can see that Admiral offers different insurance products and have pre-defined what they consider signals for renewal.

Upload Admiral's Company Knowledge to Coworker
CX Coworker can browse the existing configuration of AEP, CJA, AJO,... and also process files so the knowledge they hold can persist and be seeded to every new session. Adding files to Business Context is a way to provide more context and business rules to CX Coworker. These files can be common at the Organization level, shared with you, or only part of your own session.

Browse to Business Context using the left rail.

Click the
button. You can see the different sources that Coworker can use to build your context. Below these context sources you can select the context file you downloaded in the previous step by clicking the
button. This will initiate the process for Coworker to analyse the content and identify key information to be used as Company Knowledge.

Head back to the Business Context section and see how the Company Knowledge has been categorised.

Verify the context
Let's do a quick check on what Coworker understands about Admiral.
Go back to your chat (or start a new one) and copy the following prompt:
When is the Admiral early renewal season ?
You can see that Coworker used the context file to respond with an answer specific to Admiral.

Checkpoint / Reflection
Before moving on, take a moment to consider:
- What did the context actually change? When you asked "When is the Admiral early renewal season?", Coworker didn't guess a generic answer — it used Admiral's exact definition. Without the file you uploaded earlier, it would have had no way to know that.
- What's next? The context you just loaded doesn't just answer trivia questions - it defines exactly when and what to do for Admiral's early renewal customers. In the subsequent exercise, you'll ask Coworker to build a retention journey for customer entering the early renewal season. And it will apply this same definition automatically.
Exercise 2 - Complete
Admiral's Company Knowledge is now loaded into Coworker. From here on, every prompt you send is grounded in Admiral's language, rules, and thresholds - without you having to repeat them.
