Narrative context

The journey is built. Before activating it on real prospects, you run it in test mode against the pre-loaded profiles. Each profile takes a different path through the journey — NTB vs ETB, push allowed vs not, audience qualifying vs not, different mortgage purposes. Test mode confirms that everything you have configured behaves as designed, on real data, without sending anything to anyone.

Activate test mode

Open your journey [{{LASTNAME}}] - Mortgage simulation to pre-approval.

In the top toolbar, click Simulate > Test mode.

Click Confirm.

The menu on the left will change and show the configuration for the test mode. Real sends are suspended; the platform will simulate the journey on the profiles you add.

Test mode runs the journey logic, evaluates conditions, calls the decisioning engine, send communications and produces a per-profile trace showing exactly what will happen once published.

Trigger the journey

Click Trigger an event.

Click on Code view.

Click Send.

The platform processes the profile through the journey, applying the wait, NTB/ETB split, consent check, audience filter, path experimentation, decisioning, and so on — all in seconds.

Business punchline

You just dress-rehearsed the entire experience. You watched, in seconds, exactly what a profile would receive. The journey is ready. When it goes live, there are no surprises in the room: every path has been walked, every offer has been seen, every fallback has fired at least once.
