Metrics
1 min
Metrics are quantitative measurements that represent numerical values associated with your data, such as counts, sums, averages, rates, and calculated values. We can use two types of metrics:
- Standard Metrics: Directly mapped from a dataset, such as “event count,” “revenue,” or “product quantity.”
- Calculated Metrics: Custom metrics you define by combining, summing, dividing, or otherwise manipulating other metrics/values. Examples include ratios ("conversion rate"), derived values ("engaged users"), or advanced formula-based metrics.
Calculated metrics can be built in the Metrics Builder, which supports arithmetic, conditional logic, and aggregation.
